Bonsai Tree Table by Anke Weiss

This table was created from 150 bonsai trees that took 7 years to grow.
One of the more interesting aspects of this design is how it was received on the site where it was featured. Most of the comments condemned the artist for killing to make art. Umm...I wonder what the furniture in these peoples houses are made out of.
Maybe its that this table looks so much more alive? Link
